Muay Thai Boxing Classes
More and more people are turning to Martial Arts classes, in particular Thai Boxing as they’re a great all- over workout using punches, knees, elbows and kicks.A typical TMA Muay Thai boxing class can burn up to 800 calories per hour due to the fast pace, cardio and strength and conditioning elements of the program.
For all beginners to martial arts, our new basic program provides a foundation in Muay Thai principles and techniques with reality self defence concepts. Once confidence has built, students then have the option to follow an intermediate program to build on and enhance the basics.
MMA Classes (Mixed Martial Arts)
At TMA we are proud to be the first Martial Arts school in Wiltshire to teach MMA and have done since 2001. Our program is structured through the CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) curriculum founded by MMA pioneer, competitor and now UFC coach, Eric Paulson. Sifu Antony Child holds the only CSW coach qualification in Wiltshire and trains directly under Mr Paulson.

Krav Maga Concepts Classes
Developed by the Israeli defence forces, used by law enforcement and military units and now available to the public, Krav Maga deploys intuitive techniques to disarm, restrain and dominate an opponent.
This simple, effective Reality based, street self defence system Can be mastered by people of all ages, sizes and gender. For fitness, conditioning and self defence there is no comparison.
At TMA Krav Maga Concepts you will learn to throw punches , elbows, knees and kicks and disable an attacker quickly and swiftly.
Kickboxing involves the whole body- giving it a complete workout, making you fitter quicker and feeling rewarded. A typical TMA kickboxing class can burn around 800 calories an hour, assisting with weight loss, toning and conditioning, flexibility and getting you in great shape.
There is nothing like punching and kicking the pads for relieving stress and our classes are friendly, sociable and suitable for any age or gender. There’s no need for the gym as our program incorporates an energising workout with fun and effective drills that can be worked with a partner or a punchbag.
Jun Fan Gung Fu Classes
At TMA you will learn a core foundation of techniques that serve as powerful attacking and defensive methods. You will see your reflexes improve and therefore also your confidence, along with increased fitness and self defence.

Filipino Kali Martial Arts Classes
TMA students are better able to look after themselves in a conflict situation after following our programs. Panantukan is not seen as a sport but rather a street/jungle oriented fighting system due to the fact that the techniques have not been restricted and confined for competition rules. This is where the often used term “dirty street fighting” comes from.
The TMA Kali curriculum teaches the use of single stick, double sticks, stick and dagger and edged weapons- as well as one of the most complete and highly effective empty handed systems in martial arts. The program we follow is that developed by Guro Danny Inosanto who was originally trained by the late Bruce Lee and went on to study with over 26 Filipino masters.
Self Defence Classes
Self defence- You do not need to have any martial arts experience to learn our self defence skills. Our sessions are accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender and physical ability. Our sessions provide practical advice and techniques that are effective, easy to learn and above all, easy to remember.
Urban Street Defence- new to TMA, this noncompetitive martial art and aclectic self defence system developed in Israel over half a decade ago delivers reality self defence and counter-attack techniques.
TMA self protection/self defence sessions are effective, down to earth and yet friendly and fun and easy to follow. We also have a Redman suit which can be used to demonstrate techniques more realistically.
Fitness & Conditioning Classes
At Total Martial Arts we not only teach first class martial Arts programs , we also provide the best in Total Body Conditioning Workouts without the use of conventional weights, but by using your own body weight. In addition to our "Total Fitness" classes we hold regular bootcamps and Strength and Conditioning sessions to ensure that our students have no need for the gym!
